   ServerPoint's Intelligent Anti-Spam/Virus System

Our competition:

What is a blacklist in the spam world? It's a list of servers on the Internet that are known to send spam. However, such a system is highly inaccurate. Most of the time the wrong servers get listed, the lists are manually edited and servers with many users get listed just because one single user sent spam.

What is wrong with anti-spam systems at other web hosts? They rely on blacklists as the only way to determine whether an email is spam or not.

For example, if one user on AOL sends spam, all of AOL's servers get listed, and thus, your web host will reject all emails from AOL.

Plus, sometimes those lists are managed by individuals with the wrong intentions. In 2005, the manager of a major blacklist listed *all* servers in the world because he wasn't happy with some personal issues causing hundreds of thousands of email servers around the world to reject all emails.

How we analize spam

Our exclusive anti-spam system, developed by our team of expert programmers, applies thousands of tests to each email and each test that fails assigns a score to that email. The higher the score, the more likely that email message is to be spam.

Our email servers then only reject emails with a very high score. This way, we do not rely on one single and inaccurate method of detecting spam, thus improving your email experience.

Option to disable anti-spam/virus is available

We can configure our servers to not filter emails to your domain's addresses if you wish so.

ServerPoint is all about quality. That is our priority.
