1 We will be able to perform security upgrades for as long as your operating system's vendor makes them available. If no more are being released, we will recommend you to switch to a newer version of your operating system. ServerPoint will not be responsible for incompatibilities that may arise due to the upgrade of a software package. It is impossible for us to know if a problem will arise considering that all our customers use their servers differently.

2 This does not include issues caused by changes made by the server's user to its network configuration. Such issues would be covered through ARES.

3 In the case of Linux, we will install any software that's already made available as a package by the vendor of the Linux distribution. Some packages, if intended to be used as part of PHP, may require PHP to be recompiled. In the case of Windows, software installations are limited to the software already included in Windows but which may not be installed by default. Web applications such as forums, blogs, CMS, etc, will be covered through ARES. Installation of any other kind of software, including compiling code, will be performed through ARES.

4 ARES "any kind of support" is limited to the knowledge and expertise of ServerPoint's staff, which even though it's quite extensive, it obviously does not include support for very high level applications and services, such as Oracle databases, deep security consulting and planning, etc. If you wish us to hire an outside consultant for very specific jobs, we can do so at an extra cost.
